Cartmel Winners In The Last Twelve Months

We have been thrilled to have great success over the last twelve months with winners at every meeting since May 2014.  Building upon the success of 2013, when Tony McCoy booted us home a winner, we have continued the good run of form and have produced the following season's winners; May's Boy, Smart Ruler, Fantasy King, Morning Royalty, Altruism and many other horses filling in the minor places.  As a result of these successes we came second in the 2014 Trainer's Challenge and we are currently lying second in the 2015 challenge.

Brand new website!

Our new website went live this month! we can now proudly show all our facilities, members of the team, all of our achievements and gallery of our stables.

Our home page also has a video of our new gallop taken by Matt Frahm using his video drone technology. This perfectly frames our business and the beautiful views around our stables.

Our website also helps potential customers to see what the "Owner Experiences" would be like and features regular updates on all our wins and achievements.

Wedding Bells For James And Nadine Moffatt

On the 2nd of May this year (2015) James Moffatt became the happiest man in the world when he married his long term fiancé and training partner Nadine.

The ceremony took place in the wonderful Cartmel Priory followed by a luxurious reception in the Cartmel Race Course.  Nadine looked stunning in a beautifully embroidered white wedding dress and James looked extremely handsome in his suit and matching waistcoat.

Chief Dan George – Our Cartmel Legend

Chief Dan George has undoubtedly been the star of our yard in recent years, his grade 1 triumph at Aintree culminated in him being awarded the highest rating of any novice in the country during that season. After winning two well contested novice events as a chaser he was sent off favourite for the Scottish Grand National, for which he finished fourth in. The following  season after a low key start he found his form and beat a previous Hennessey winner at Doncaster and then followed up ten days later with a fantastic win at the Cheltenham Festival for his owner...
